Aga is the creator of Ferment Radio, a podcast on bacterial and social fermentation, and the co-founder of Super Eclectic, a creative studio that inspires action on the most critical topics of our time. She is also a member of the Centre for the Social Study of Microbes at the University of Helsinki and a PhD candidate in the RAT Research Group at Aalto University in Finland.

Spirulina is a type of cyanobacterium, and is often described as a “superfood.” It represents one of the oldest bacterial lineages on Earth, and is a strong candidate for space food thanks to its high protein content and relative easy cultivation. But you don’t need to go to space to grow spirulina, and probably shouldn't. You can cultivate it at home!
